                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Recognizing and commending the Vann Wooten family; and for 
  1- 2  other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, at the Georgia Young Farmers Association's 
  1- 4  Twenty-ninth Annual Convention in Athens, Vann and Tabatha 
  1- 5  Wooten and their wonderful children, Derek and Lauren, were 
  1- 6  named Georgia Farm Family of the Year; and 
 
  1- 7  WHEREAS, the honor accorded this outstanding Snipesville 
  1- 8  family has also been acknowledged with a certificate of 
  1- 9  recognition by the Jeff Davis County Board of Education; and 
 
  1-10  WHEREAS, this family won this award through tough 
  1-11  competition with other farm families from throughout the 
  1-12  state; and 
 
  1-13  WHEREAS, this honor recognizes the dedication, abilities, 
  1-14  and hard work of the Wooten family and their commitment to 
  1-15  family farming and free enterprise; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, the Wooten family serves as a sterling example for 
  1-17  all Georgians. 
 
  1-18  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-19  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize and 
  1-20  commend the Vann Wooten family on their selection as Georgia 
  1-21  Farm Family of the Year. 
 
  1-22  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-23  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-24  appropriate copy of this resolution to the Vann Wooten
