                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Chapter 29 of Title 33 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to individual accident and 
  1- 3  sickness insurance, so as to provide for notice prior to 
  1- 4  certain premium increases; to repeal conflicting laws; and 
  1- 5  for other purposes. 
 
  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 7                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 8  Chapter 29 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1- 9  Annotated, relating to individual accident and sickness 
  1-10  insurance, is amended by adding at the end a new Code 
  1-11  section to read as follows: 
 
  1-12    "33-29-22. 
 
  1-13    Notice of any premium increase shall be mailed or 
  1-14    delivered to each holder of an individual accident and 
  1-15    sickness insurance policy not less than 60 days prior to 
  1-16    the effective date of such increase." 
 
  1-17                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-18  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
