                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend Code Section 16-13-32.6 of the Official Code of 
  1- 2  Georgia Annotated, relating to establishment of drug-free 
  1- 3  commercial zones and punishment of unlawful conduct therein, 
  1- 4  so as to adopt and incorporate all drug-free commercial 
  1- 5  zones which have been adopted by counties and municipalities 
  1- 6  and registered with the Department of Community Affairs 
  1- 7  prior to a certain date; to provide for related matters; to 
  1- 8  repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 9       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1-10                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1-11  Code Section 16-13-32.6 of the Official Code of Georgia 
  1-12  Annotated, relating to establishment of drug-free commercial 
  1-13  zones and punishment of unlawful conduct therein, is amended 
  1-14  by striking subsection (f) and inserting in its place a new 
  1-15  subsection to read as follows: 
 
  1-16    "(f) The General Assembly hereby adopts and incorporates 
  1-17    into this Code section all drug-free commercial zones 
  1-18    which have been adopted by municipal or county ordinance 
  1-19    and entered in the register of the Department of Community 
  1-20    Affairs as provided for in subsection (d) of this Code 
  1-21    section as of January 1, 1996 on or before March 22, 
  1-22    1999." 
 
  1-23                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-24  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
