                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend an Act creating a new charter for the City of 
  1- 2  Suwanee, approved April 9, 1999 (Ga. L. 1999, p. 3729), so 
  1- 3  as to change the corporate limits of said city; to repeal 
  1- 4  conflicting laws; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 5       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 6                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 7  An Act creating a new charter for the City of Suwanee, 
  1- 8  approved April 9, 1999 (Ga. L. 1999, p. 3729), is amended by 
  1- 9  adding at the end of Section 1.11 a new subsection (c) to 
  1-10  read as follows: 
 
  1-11    "(c) Any other provision of this section to the contrary 
  1-12    notwithstanding, the following described property is 
  1-13    included within the boundaries of the City of Suwanee: 
 
  1-14      All that land lying within Gwinnett County, Georgia, 
  1-15      being that which is described herein, to wit: 
 
  1-16        The entire right-of-way which comprises the 
  1-17        Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road/Highway 317 bridge/overpass 
  1-18        over Interstate 85 and the entire length of 
  1-19        right-of-way of entrance/exits ramps of the Exit 44, 
  1-20        I-85 Interchange (A State of Georgia Roadway).  The 
  1-21        roadway comprising northbound, southbound, and 
  1-22        emergency lanes of Interstate 85 is expressly 
  1-23        excluded." 
 
  1-24                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-25  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are
