                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Expressing congratulations to the family on the birth of 
  1- 2  Autumn Faith Coan; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 3  WHEREAS, Autumn Faith Coan was born into the proud family of 
  1- 4  Constance Hope Lee Coan and Mike Coan, our friend and 
  1- 5  colleague, on March 1, 2000; and 
 
  1- 6  WHEREAS, in this instance, the newborn is the first child 
  1- 7  from this happy marriage, and her birth appropriately calls 
  1- 8  for much celebration and good wishes; and 
 
  1- 9  WHEREAS, few moments in the life of any family surpass the 
  1-10  tremendous joy shared by the parents, family, and friends on 
  1-11  the occasion of the birth of a child; and 
 
  1-12  WHEREAS, in celebration of this momentous event, special 
  1-13  recognition is hereby conveyed to the joyous parents of this 
  1-14  precious newborn child. 
 
  1-15  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-16  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body recognize the 
  1-17  birth of Autumn Faith Coan and express their sincerest 
  1-18  congratulations and best wishes to the proud parents and 
  1-19  family of this infant girl. 
 
  1-20  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-21  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  1-22  appropriate copy of this resolution to Honorable Mike Coan
