                        A BILL TO BE ENTITLED 
                               AN ACT 
 
 
  1- 1  To amend an Act incorporating the City of Stapleton 
  1- 2  (formerly the Town of Spread), approved August 15, 1903 (Ga. 
  1- 3  L. 1903, p. 668), as amended so as to change the corporate 
  1- 4  limits of the city; to repeal conflicting laws; and for 
  1- 5  other purposes. 
 
  1- 6       BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA: 
 
  1- 7                           SECTION 1. 
 
  1- 8  An Act incorporating the City of Stapleton (formerly the 
  1- 9  Town of Spread), approved August 15, 1903 (Ga. L. 1903, p. 
  1-10  668), as amended is amended by adding following Section 2 a 
  1-11  new Section 2.1 to read as follows: 
 
  1-12                         "SECTION 2.1. 
 
  1-13    The corporate limits of the City of Stapleton shall also 
  1-14    include the following tract: 
 
  1-15    All that tract or parcel of land known as a portion of the 
  1-16    Right-Of-Way State Route 396 containing 3.07 acres, more 
  1-17    or less, and being as appears on plat of survey by Johnny 
  1-18    E. Miller, R.L.S. #2302, dated February 10, 1997, and 
  1-19    recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of 
  1-20    Jefferson County, Georgia, in Deed Book 241, Page 289. 
 
  1-21    Reference being made to said recorded plat for a more 
  1-22    particular description." 
 
  1-23                           SECTION 2. 
 
  1-24  All laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are 
  1-25  repealed.
