  2- 4  WHEREAS, the Twenty-Five for the Twenty-First Century 
  2- 5  exemplify the spirit of progress, bringing to fruition their 
  2- 6  dreams and vision for the betterment of Georgia's people and 
  2- 7  their determination for moving Georgia forward; and 
 
  2- 8  WHEREAS, underlying the actions and achievements of these 25 
  2- 9  distinguished Georgians are their demonstrated compassion 
  2-10  and concern for each man, woman, and child in the state. 
 
  2-11  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  2-12  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend the 
  2-13  Twenty-Five for the Twenty-First Century for their 
  2-14  innovations, achievements, and many contributions to the 
  2-15  state and to the nation. 
 
  2-16  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  2-17  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 
  2-18  appropriate copy of this resolution to each of the living of 
  2-19  the Twenty-Five for the Twenty-First Century and to the
