                             A RESOLUTION 
 
  1- 1  Commending Wesley James Taylor; and for other purposes. 
 
  1- 2  WHEREAS, Wesley James Taylor of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, is an 
  1- 3  outstanding senior student at Northwest Whitfield High 
  1- 4  School who has established an excellent reputation in his 
  1- 5  various school activities; and 
 
  1- 6  WHEREAS, he was elected by his peers to the prestigious 
  1- 7  position of State 4-H President in 1998, and he was the 
  1- 8  Georgia 4-H Ambassador to Florida in 1997; and 
 
  1- 9  WHEREAS, he has been active in the Mock Trial program, and 
  1-10  he received the Best Witness Award in both the regional and 
  1-11  state contests; and 
 
  1-12  WHEREAS, his superb performance in the Mock Trial program 
  1-13  reflects his interest and ability as well as the dedication 
  1-14  and experience of his exceptional coaches Gary Cochran, Eva 
  1-15  Hendrix, Matt Thames, and Rick Brown; and 
 
  1-16  WHEREAS, it is most fitting and appropriate to recognize and 
  1-17  commend those students who demonstrate a commitment to 
  1-18  educational excellence and who lead others by their example. 
 
  1-19  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 
  1-20  REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Wesley 
  1-21  James Taylor on his excellent performance as a student at 
  1-22  Northwest Whitfield High School and convey to him their best 
  1-23  wishes in his future pursuits. 
 
  1-24  BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 
  1-25  Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an
