First Reader Summary

A bill to amend Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to crimes and offenses, so as to provide that a person shall be justified in the use of deadly force to protect himself or herself or a third person from unlawful force, to prevent an imminent theft, or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony; to provide that every head of a household in this state shall be required to maintain at least one firearm with ammunition in his or her residence.
