A bill to amend Title 42 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to penal institutions, so as to require the Department of Corrections to provide an Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program; to provide that the program shall be made available to certain inmates; to provide that an inmate who was under the influence of alcohol or drugs shall not be considered for parole until such inmate has successfully completed an Alcohol or Drug Use Risk Reduction Program.
