A bill to amend Code Section 33-2-24 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to enforcement of insurance laws, rules, regulations, and orders, so as to change the conditions under which the Insurance Commissioner may impose monetary penalties for violations; to provide that a violation must be accompanied by certain aggravating factors in order for a monetary penalty to be imposed on an insurer, agent, broker, counselor, solicitor, or adjuster.
