A BILL to amend Code Section 20-2-151.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to proficiency in American Sign Language as fulfulling foreign language requirements for college preparatory curriculum and for Carnegie unit elective credits, so as to provide that for the purpose of fulfilling the foreign language or math requirements for a college preparatory curriculum seal of endorsement on a high school diploma, academic credit shall be granted to pupils who have successfully completed during the eighth or ninth grade certain courses in foreign language, algebra, or geometry; and for other purposes.
