First Reader Summary

A BILL to amend Chapter 5 of Title 48 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to ad valorem taxation of property, so as to change the time when the books of local tax officials are closed for the purpose of making tax returns; to repeal certain provisions with respect to the opening and closing of such books for such purpose in all counties of this state having a population of not less than 81,300 nor more than 89,000 according to the United States decennial census; and for other purposes.
