First Reader Summary

A BILL to amend Article 3 of Chapter 3 of Title 40 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to security interests in and liens on motor vehicles, so as to provide that in the case of a motor vehicle or trailer, a transaction shall not create a sales or security interest because it provides that the rental price is permitted or required to be adjusted under the agreement by reference to the amount realized upon sale; and for other purposes.
