A BILL to amend Article 7 of Chapter 10 of Title 9 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to continuances of a civil trial, and Article 2 of Chapter 8 of Title 17 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to continuances of a criminal trial, so as to clarify the circumstances in which civil and criminal trial courts shall grant continuances due to a party's or an attorney's attendance at the General Assembly; and for other purposes.
