HR 1302 LC 10 1787 A RESOLUTION 1- 1 Expressing regret at the passing of Mr. Milo Snellgrove; and 1- 2 for other purposes. 1- 3 WHEREAS, on March 13, 1996, the State of Georgia lost one of 1- 4 its finest and most distinguished citizens in the passing of 1- 5 Mr. Milo Snellgrove of Warner Robins, Georgia; and 1- 6 WHEREAS, Mr. Snellgrove was the retired owner and operator 1- 7 of Snellgrove Seafood; and 1- 8 WHEREAS, he was a veteran of the Army Air Corps and a 1- 9 retired general contractor; and 1-10 WHEREAS, Mr. Snellgrove was very active in the religious, 1-11 civic, and public affairs of Houston County and was 1-12 well-liked and respected by everybody in his community; and 1-13 WHEREAS, his ideals, his sense of fair play, his integrity, 1-14 and his code of personal ethics were never trarnished and 1-15 never questioned; and 1-16 WHEREAS, the many outstanding contributions made by this 1-17 outstanding citizen will be sorely missed by the people of 1-18 Houston County and the State of Georgia. 1-19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF 1-20 REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body do hereby 1-21 express their deepest and sincerest regrets at the passing 1-22 of one of this state's most outstanding and distinguished 1-23 citizens, Mr. Milo Snellgrove. 1-24 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of 1-25 Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an 1-26 appropriate copy of this resolution to the family of Mr. 1-27 Milo Snellgrove. -1- (Index)
